Andy Moore

Andy Moore received her first acoustic guitar at the age of 10. She took her formal vocal training and discovered folk/rock music. She swiftly began playing solo gigs at coffee houses.

Since the debut of her first album "Shifting" (2001 Thumbcrown Records), Andy has continued to entertain packed venues along the East Coast as well as other venues across the country. Andy recently headlined the competitive nightly show scene in Provincetown, MA. Since leaving Texas and following her heart into music, she has shared the stage with such indie greats as Melissa Ferrick, Dan Bern, Beth Hart, Jess Klein, Edie Carey, Adrianne, and Bet Williams.

Andy's latest work, titled "Dig Right In" (2004 Rockstar Productions), is laced with emotionally engaging vocals, intense lyrical depth and her signature smooth acoustic guitar. Packed with a dozen fresh new tracks, Andy's influences Shawn Colvin and the Indigo Girls shine through brilliantly.

Eric Himan & Andy Moore
http://www.erichiman.com

Melodic poetry, acoustic rockin' riffs, one hell of a powerful voice and vivid storytelling that cuts straight to the heart - Eric Himan delivers all this and more.

Eric's vocal stylings have often been compared to "a male" Tracy Chapman and his style is pulled in by inspirations from great artists like Etta James, Ani DiFranco, and Janis Joplin. His music is a whimsical mixture of folk, blues, rock, country, and jazz. His poetry and stories speak to his audiences and exposes emotions most of us push aside in our daily hustle and bustle.

He's a handsome guy with a guitar. Even his acoustic guitar playing style is unique and different. He attacks his guitar in a percussive manner, squeezing out the notes, plucking it to make it sing.Eric plays music with something to say. He decided a long time ago to be out and open about his sexuality but simply does not fit into the traditional "gay man's music" world. No techno beats here. Eric tackles difficult topics from family acceptance, date rape, relationship struggles, following passion, and even the death penalty. In life as well as his music, Eric is determined to make a difference.

Eric has been featured in OUT, Instinct, Genre, The Advocate and even Curve Magazines. He also appears on the HRC compilation "Love Rocks".

Eric will be performing with special guest Andy Moore. This marks Eric's third appearance at Harrisburg Pride and his first since being in OUT's 100 for 2005.

Natalie Darkes

After over 20 years of performing live, Natalie exudes a mature, ever adapting style and sense of creativity through her music. As a vocalist, electric and acoustic guitarist and lyricist, she has written and delivered an array of powerful, personal, yet universal songs. What makes Natalie's music so electrifying is her pop rock, electronica and blues style and blend of acoustic and electric sounds. Her heart pounding rythms, exuberant melodies and captivating words are a true mark of her ability to harness the rawness of life.
